2nd of January 2009: Whistling Birdie
I was practising this song on my flute today. After I stopped practising, I started to whistle it. I could so totally see a birdie whistling the song, so I drew the birdie, then I decided to make random notes come out of his beak. But wait, they shouldn’t be random. scratch that… I decided to make a part of the song I was playing come out of his beak. Everybody knows this song, and you probably do too, you might not know what it’s called but you most probably know it. And if you figure it out (whoever you are) I’ll give you a HUGE (imaginary) cookie!
I decided to do a little background too. That thing by the sea… that circular thing… that’s a Ferris weel. And those seemingly random lines to the right of the Ferris wheel. That’s the crown of the tree the birdie is on… in case you didn’t understand my sketching. :) course this is just a quick sketch, but I really like the concept! so be prepared to see some (better) versions of this. :)
